Online Learning Summit 2023 at University of Leeds

Nicola McCullough - Director of Education, Ahead in Sport was in attendance at the inaugural Online Learning Summit 2023 this month in Leeds. The conference explored the transformational process that is taking place in all HE online courses and programmes around the world and considered how scalable and sustainable innovative online design processes can be and should be in the future.
A key focus of the conference was the use of learning engineering/design and the evolution of using AI in developing online courses and programmes. Collaboration rather than competition between HEIs and industry partners was explored as a crucial part in the next steps of online learning.
A great opportunity to connect with Prof Simon Rofe - Associate Professor University of Leeds and CODE Fellow at University of London and Neil Mosley - Director and HE Consultant. There were some outstanding guest speakers and it was a fantastic forum for Ahead in Sport to showcase our online programmes that have been developed and to start to disseminate our good practices with global academic colleagues in innovative online design and delivery. We are looking forward to the next Online Learning Summit in 2024!
