“As somebody who is passionate about both football and education I am delighted to be a part of Ahead in Sport.
The BSc(Hons) Football Industry is a unique and innovative programme which allows learners to combine their existing football commitments with studying for a degree. I am looking forward to adding my own experiences, both on and off the pitch, to support and develop this and other programmes and I am excited about what we can achieve together.”

“Football possesses the power to bring change in our world. I want to be at the forefront of this positive change, utilising my own experiences as a player and then transitioning to a career off the pitch. I believe that education, aligned with those professional experiences, can support others to make that transition and I am delighted to be working with Ahead In Sport in providing opportunities for those in the game to combine their existing football commitments with studying for a degree or undertaking professional development.”
Birmingham City FC, Port Vale FC and York City FC and Northern Ireland
“The growth of the football industry has led to an increase in opportunities both on and off the pitch. As somebody who was fortunate to be able to experience both, I am now passionate about expanding those same opportunities for players, coaches and administrators by sharing my own experiences and supporting their individual development through education.”
